Kaitlin Olson is an unconventional detective in ‘High Potential’ sneak peek (exclusive)

In just one week, ABC will welcome a new show to its primetime schedule: Kaitlin Olson-led High potential. Ahead of the premiere, Collider is excited to share a sneak peek at the murder of the week with a new featurette that focuses on Olson and the cast as they slip into their roles for a wild ride that’s expected to be equal parts dramatic and comedic. Daredevil Creator Drew Goddard is behind the project, which follows a high-IQ single mother working a job that squanders her potential – as a cleaner for the LAPD. Olson describes her character Morgan in the preview as “combative” and “self-reliant,” taking care of three children at different stages of life while cleaning up the office and dropping a tip or two to the police when everyone is out, much to Karadec’s chagrin (Daniel Sunjata) annoyance. The laughs come from the dynamic between her and Sunjata, who as her new partner does everything exactly as she says. However, Morgan only gets the job thanks to Lt. Soto (Judy Reyes), who takes a risk by hiring her as a consultant after recognizing her ability to correct mistakes. Even the work in the office is Javicia Leslieis Daphne, another investigator who seems to be on the same wavelength as Morgan. High potential was a must for the Batwoman Stars due to the excellent script starting from the pilot episode.
