JTaylor expands its tax services department with an experienced professional

Catherine Rude has joined JTaylor as head of tax services, the company announced this week.

Rude is an attorney who has spent the past 12 years at Brown PC, where she served as managing director. Her experience includes complex tax litigation and she brings a wealth of knowledge in dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies, the firm said.

“Catherine brings a unique skill set that complements the talents of our team,” Shannon Schumacher, the firm’s director of tax services, said in a statement. “Many of us have worked with Catherine in the past and we know what a remarkable resource she will be to our clients who may be navigating difficult circumstances.”

Rude holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington and a Master of Laws in tax law from the University of San Diego. She is a member of the Tax Section of the Texas Bar. She is also an instructor in the Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic at the Texas A&M School of Law.

JTaylor is a professional services firm that has been providing accounting, auditing, consulting and tax services to clients throughout the United States for over 25 years.

Joe Taylor, Chairman and Founding Partner, is a member of Fort Worth Inc.“The 400,” the list of the most influential business and social leaders in Fort Worth.
