Ashley Park has to be on guard when Josh Gad is around.

The Emily in Paris The 33-year-old actress got quite a shock from Gad on Live with Kelly and Mark as an actor and ImageFace Lizzy The 43-year-old children’s book author played a big prank on her.

While Park was talking to her co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos about her childhood and college years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Tuesday, September 17, Gad could be seen sneaking up behind her – and letting out a scream that caused the actress to jump out of her seat and scream.

“Josh!” she screamed at him as he jogged backstage before falling to her knees and accepting a hug from the co-hosts while sitting in Ripa’s lap, mock-crying.

“He told us you would like it,” Consuelos, 53, said of Gad.

After regaining her composure, Park told the hosts that she and Gad “just shot a movie together, and he played my husband.”

“Does this happen every day?” 53-year-old Ripa asked her guest after the prank, to which the actress replied: “It happens every day. Morning, noon and night.”

“You really jumped out of your chair!” said Ripa.

“He’s the snowman we all love,” Park joked with a laugh, referring to Gad’s lovable Olaf character in the Frozen film franchise.

Park says in all seriousness that she “loves Gad” and is “easily scared,” which the people who know her sometimes have to take advantage of.

“(Josh and I both come) from the Broadway world, and people love doing this with me,” explained the Girls Club – Be careful, they bite! Alum.

“So this is a known thing?” Ripa asked, and Park replied, “I think so. People are discovering it.”

“Don’t do that to Ashley Park again!” Ripa joked into the camera.
