Joseph Maddy of Shevlin recently received the 2024 Spirit Award from Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
The award honors employees who demonstrate exceptional commitment and dedication to the vision and mission of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, a press release said.
Maddy works in specialized community support for the organization.
This year, Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota honored 88 employees with the award. Recipients are nominated by their supervisors.
“Our Spirit Award recipients are inspirational,” said Patrick Thueson, president of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, in the press release. “They approach their work with passion and have a joy that uplifts those around them. It is a great privilege to recognize their remarkable service to others.”
The Spirit Award winners were honored and recognized at a special ceremony on August 15.
