TOPLINE Jenny Abramson was a sophomore at Stanford in 1997 when her mother, Patty, founded the Women’s Growth Capital Fund. Back then, her daughter recalls, she was surrounded by “a million amazing women” at school and didn’t really understand why female founders needed their own venture capital firm.
