Bailey is nominated for his portrayal of Tim Laughlin in the series Dear fellow travelers, where he stars alongside Matt Bomer. Fellow Travelers is based on the book by Thomas Mallon and is set in Washington, DC in the McCarthy era of the 1950s. The political thriller follows the romance of two men over four decades. This is the 36-year-old’s first Emmy nomination ever, although he has already won the Laurence Olivier Award and a Critics’ Choice Television Award in the past.
