“Joker: Folie a Deux” star Lady Gaga walked the red carpet with her new fiancé Michael Polansky
Lady Gaga is engaged and she is not afraid to show it.
The singer and actress pulled out all the stops for her first red carpet appearance with her new fiancé Michael Polansky at the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday.
Gaga, 38, showed off her huge diamond engagement ring at the premiere of her latest film, “Joker: Folie à Deux.”

Gaga, whose full name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, walked the red carpet at the Lido di Venezia in a black Christian Dior haute couture dress with a plunging halter neckline.
Her sleeveless dress was nipped in at the waist and fell into a puffy black skirt. She wore an elaborate Phillip Treacy headpiece over her platinum blonde hair, which she tied back in a chic, sleek bun.

The Grammy Award winner completed her ensemble with a sparkling diamond pendant necklace from Tiffany & Co., as well as earrings and a bracelet to complement her massive engagement ring.
Gaga was accompanied on the red carpet by Polansky, who wore a sleek black tuxedo.

Earlier in the week, the very private couple took a romantic boat ride through the city while Gaga showed off her sparkling diamond ring.
Gaga confirmed her engagement to Polansky at the 2024 Paris Olympics, when she introduced the businessman to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal as “my fiancé.”
The romantic connection between the two began in 2020 after a Super Bowl weekend full of declarations of love in Miami.

She stars alongside Joaquin Phoenix in Todd Phillips’ musical sequel to Phoenix’s character Arthur Flex, in which she also plays his lover Harley Quinn.
“I’ve never done anything like this film before, so it’s going to be completely new and really fun,” she told Deadline earlier this year.
The highly anticipated sequel to Phillips’ Oscar-winning 2019 film Joker is scheduled to hit theaters on October 4.
“In ‘Joker: Folie À Deux,’ Arthur Fleck sits in Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as the Joker,” the film’s synopsis states. “As he struggles with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that has always been within him.”
