JoJo Siwa left her fans baffled after posing for a very daring photoshoot for Ladygunn magazine.

The singer still rocked her signature Dancing mothers sparkle, but her wardrobe choices had nothing on the bubblegum pop look that had made her a household name.

When she posed for the magazine’s double cover, the 21-year-old wore a rhinestone-embellished breastplate, which she combined with an equally glittery jockstrap.

On one cover, Siwa squatted in a pair of embellished gold combat boots. On her second cover, she showed off her muscles while still wearing the breastplate, which oddly revealed extra nipples and abs.

“karma “is still a catchy tune,” she was quoted as saying in a caption referring to her hit single released five months ago, shared on Ladygunn’s official Instagram account.

“It’s crazy that five months later it’s still relevant. And that’s the point.”

Although Siwa was proud of what she and photographer Hope Glassel created for the magazine, her bold photoshoot garnered some negative comments from dazed and confused fans.

“No hate, I’m honestly just confused,” wrote one, while another joked, “Today is not a good day to have eyes.”

“I’m uncomfortable,” another chimed in, and one user commented, “Raise your hand if you have ever personally been a victim of JoJo Siwa.”

“What in the world? No it’s not!” commented another fan, while one begged, “Girl, please don’t.”

But it wasn’t all negative. Her interesting photoshoot was also praised by her fans, who thought that she really “served” with her daring look.

“Oh my god this is soooo campy I love it,” wrote one, while another commented: “If Lady Gaga did this, be honest, y’all would eat it up.”

“Legendary!!!!” concluded another.

It is not the first time that the pop star has left her fans baffled with her transformation.

Following the release of her daring music video for karmaThe star then walked the red carpet at the iHeart Radio Music Awards in LA in a striking mesh bodysuit shirt, complete with theatrical makeup inspired by the rock band KISS.

Once again she was confronted with critics, but Siwa, who sees herself as a pioneer, did not care.

“Nobody has ever made such a dramatic change. No one in my generation has made such an extreme change,” she later said on the red carpet at the GLAAD Awards.

“I’m the first of this generation. It’s very scary, but someone has to do it.”
