John Krasinski and his co-stars from “The Office” recreated the wedding dance for a virtual ceremony
John Krasinski is clearly a hopeless romantic.
As proof of this, the actor/director hosted a very special wedding in the seventh episode of his online show “Some Good News”.
Krasinski said, “Perhaps my favorite love story of the week was that of a couple from Maryland whose marriage proposal seemed strangely familiar.”
That’s because the couple, identified as Susan and John, were reenacting the now-famous marriage proposal from Krasinski’s character Jim from “The Office” to the character Pam, played by Jenna Fischer.

John explained that the series meant a lot to him and Susan.
“So I knew the proposal had to be something really special, but also something really unique,” John said. “‘The Office’ has been with us both for a very, very long time, so it just felt right.”

It was a hit with his future bride.
“Then he got down on one knee and said something like, ‘Just like Jim, I can’t wait any longer,'” Susan said.
The couple had tweeted to Krasinski and asked him if he could attend their virtual wedding.
But he went one step further: he quickly pulled out a certificate proving his ordination as a priest and told them that the wedding would take place at that very moment.
He then surprised the couple with their parents and best friends and by nominating himself and Fischer as best man and maid of honor.
But the surprises were not over yet, because country star Zac Brown sang a special song that made the bride wipe tears from her eyes.
Krasinski then invited “some of my family members” in the form of his cast members from “The Office,” who recreated their now-famous wedding dance from an earlier episode to the Chris Brown song “Forever.”
