Joe Burrow is very excited about Erick All’s progress and the Bengals’ TE room

Joe Burrow finally has a tight end with potential. And the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback is pretty happy about it.

Rookie Erick All Jr. was a real eye-catcher thanks to his skills as a pass catcher and his fantastic blocking ability.

When asked about All’s major progress, Burrow said:

“He just keeps getting better. All he does is work hard and improve, learn from his mistakes and get better every day. He has all the physical tools. He’s big, fast, strong and catches the ball really well. And he’s getting better and better at understanding what we’re trying to accomplish with the concept and scheme, so I’m excited about his future,” Burrow said.

Burrow also said it was “very unusual” for All to take up so much of the offense so early. He then said the Bengals have two rookies, All and Jermaine Burton, who “keep getting better for us” and that the Bengals are “counting on them,” along with injured rookie tackle Amarius Mims.

Burrow also discussed the development of the offense due to the depth of the tight end room.

“Using 12 (personnel) could vary week to week depending on the matchups and what we expect the defense to do in those situations,” Burrow said. “And we have the guys this year to make that decision. We have a lot of tight ends that we feel really comfortable putting on the field and making plays, so that’s a luxury we can afford this year.”

Everything points to a balanced game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Will he be more involved in the offense against the Washington Commanders? In the video below, we analyze the game and discuss the development of Dan Pitcher’s unit.
