Jimmy Hart names current wrestlers he would like to work with

In the decades he spent in the wrestling industry, Hart worked hand-in-hand with some of the greatest talents of all time, elevating their reputations and enriching their stories, whether through his work on the microphone, in interviews or during matches.

Hart has managed Koko B. Ware, Jim Neidhart, Jerry Lawler and most notably Hulk Hogan, among others. However, speaking to Comicbook.com, Hart revealed that he believes some of the current stars have the potential to become big names and admitted that he would be interested in taking on the role again if it was offered to him.

“If I had the choice, if Triple H came to me and said, ‘Jimmy, we’ve got Paul Ellering who just came back, we want to bring you back for a while.’ I’d say, ‘Okay, great. I’m in.’ I’d take Austin Theory, I love him. I think he’s got a lot of options. Pretty Deadly, the tag team Pretty Deadly. I’d love to be with those guys. And I think the ladies, Piper Niven, I’d love to be with Piper. I’m telling you now, she’s got the looks, she’s got the size. She could do so many great things in the ring, and I think she’s so close to maybe being world champion, but she’d be great. I’d love to be by her side. Because I had the glamour girls at one point, remember Judy, Lonnie Kahn and Judy Martin.” (H/T Fightful)

WWE pushes managers more and more often

While there was a time under Vince McMahon’s leadership when managers virtually disappeared from WWE television, under Triple H they played a more important role.

Whether it’s being an official manager, valet, or someone’s special advisor, Triple H has brought back this wrestling cliche to great effect. Guys like Paul Heyman, B-Fab, and Scarlett all do a great job enhancing the performances of the talent on screen. Even dynamics like Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio have shown how entertaining it can be to have someone at ringside.

10 cases where a manager actually damaged a wrestler’s career

While a manager is usually meant to improve a wrestler’s reputation, in these cases he has held the wrestler back and damaged his career.

Hart understood that better than most who have been in that position, and there’s no doubt he could still fill the role well. He’s worked with WWE over the years and has often been used at media events and charity appearances. However, it remains to be seen if WWE would want to bring an 80-year-old man back on tour full-time to manage a current talent.
