Jessica Leeds: ‘Trump grabbed me, put his hand under my skirt…’: Jessica Leeds recalls the 1970s plane attack and ‘deciding whether to sue’ | World News

Jessica Leeds publicly renewed her accusation against former President Donald Trump, claiming he sexually harassed her aboard a jet in the late 1970s. In a stirring press conference on Monday Leeds She described vivid details of her experience, saying, “He grabbed me, tried to kiss me and put his hand under my skirt. It was like he had 47 arms – like an octopus, but he didn’t say a word,” CBS reported.
Leeds described feeling hurt and traumatized by the encounter. She claimed that at a later meeting, Trump mocked and verbally harassed her, saying, “I remember you,” followed by a derogatory term.
She criticized Trump’s alleged disregard for women, saying, “At the end of the day, he doesn’t understand that he’s a sex offender.” Leeds added, “He attacked me 50 years ago and he still attacks me today.” She also said she is considering suing him.
When asked if she would take legal action over Trump’s recent comments, Leeds told CNN, “We are keeping all options open.” “But no, my goal when I was asked to testify at E. Jean’s trial was to prove that he has been behaving this way for a long time and that I have nothing to gain from it,” she said.
She said it was “important to remind voters of Trump’s disrespect for women.” “I wasn’t the first, of course I wasn’t the last. But there were enough that he doesn’t remember,” Leeds said, according to CNN.

The allegations resurfaced after Trump made controversial remarks on Friday that Leeds called “bizarre.” Reflecting on the situation, Leeds admitted, “I have to admit I laughed. It’s a little scary and a little hard to process. He seems kind of obsessed. But here I am.”
Leeds first made her allegation public in 2016 during the presidential campaign, telling the New York Times that Trump had groped her on a flight to New York.

During the federal trial of writer E. Jean Carroll in 2023, she described the alleged assault in more detail, describing a disturbing scene: “He grabbed my breasts… It was a wrestling match between the two of us.”
Leeds also recounted a later encounter with Trump at a charity event where he allegedly taunted her with the comment, “I remember you. You’re that cunt from the plane.” She described it as a humiliating experience.
Trump, however, vehemently denied ever knowing Leeds and refuted her claims. “Think about how inconvenient that is,” he argued. “I’m famous, I’m on a plane and I grab her and start kissing her? What are the chances of that happening? And frankly, I know you’re going to say that’s a terrible thing to say, but that can’t have happened. It didn’t happen.”

Trump also suggested that the allegations were politically motivated: “This is a scandalous case… It is particularly scandalous because it involves a former president of the United States who now has the best chance in the polls to become president again, and this case, like all such cases, is being handled with the Department of Justice.”
The stark contrast between Leeds’ detailed report and Trump’s denial continues to fuel a heated public debate as both sides brace for further developments.
