Browns GM Andrew Berry has made moves each of the past three seasons to sign talented wide receivers by trading draft picks with his former team.

Cleveland did this in 2022 for Amari Cooper, in 2023 for Elijah Moore and again in 2024 for Jerry Jeudy.

Jeudy – a former first-round pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft – was available because the AFC West franchise wanted to fill its roster with talented athletes via the draft.

The same draft also produced the NFL’s best receiver in 2023: wide receiver CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys.

Although Jeudy’s numbers were well below Lamb’s over his first four seasons, the Browns wide receiver believes the difference lies in the opportunities afforded to both players, not talent.

Insider Mary Kay Cabot shared a video on X – the platform formerly known as Twitter – in which Jeudy clearly expressed his thoughts on his potential in the NFL.

“We don’t have the same numbers, but talent-wise, I believe I have what it takes to reach the numbers he has achieved throughout his career,” Jeudy said.

Jeudy has caught 211 passes for over 3,000 yards in his first four seasons.

The Browns’ new wide receiver also scored a total of 11 receiving touchdowns in his first four seasons.

In comparison, Lamb has 5,145 receiving yards from 568 receptions as a member of the Cowboys.

The Dallas wide receiver also recorded 32 receiving touchdowns, including a top-three finish in the NFL season with 12 receiving touchdowns.

Jeudy will get a chance to prove his point against Lamb on Sunday when the two teams meet in the season opener.
