Jennifer Lopez ends an eventful summer with a new post.

The singer posted 16 images on Instagram on August 31, starting with a selfie of her in a black turtleneck and high ponytail. The next image includes the message: “Everything is unfolding in divine order.”

Other photos show Lopez licking an ice cream cone, leaning on her sister Lynda, and wearing a T-shirt with the message “She’s blooming and carefree/Out of reach and at peace.”

Lopez simply captioned the photo collection, “Oh, it was a summer.”

The photos are Lopez’s second Instagram post since filing for divorce from husband Ben Affleck on Aug. 20, according to court documents obtained by TODAY.com. She filed the paperwork on the second anniversary of her wedding to Affleck in Georgia.

News of her split from Affleck came amid rumors of a breakup that only intensified after the “This Is Me… Now” singer canceled her summer tour on May 31. Entertainment company Live Nation said in a statement at the time that Lopez was “taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”

Lopez shared her first social media post since filing for divorce from Affleck on August 30, a joint post with the official Instagram account of her cocktail company Delola.

Lopez and Affleck married in 2022 after getting back together the year before.

The couple first dated in the early 2000s, leading to the enduring nickname “Bennifer.” The “Gigli” co-stars got engaged in November 2002 before splitting in 2004.
