Jennifer Lopez is “devastated” about her split from Ben Affleck after two years of marriage, a source told Fox News Digital.

The “Let’s Get Loud” singer gave her all to the marriage and wanted it to work after the couple’s romance was rekindled, the source noted.

Meanwhile, Affleck seems to be doing well despite the marriage ending, another source told Fox News Digital. The “Gone Girl” star “threw in the towel a long time ago.”

Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20. Her divorce petition was filed on the second anniversary of their wedding in Georgia. According to People magazine, Lopez listed April 26 as her separation date.

Affleck was photographed without his wedding ring on the same day Lopez filed for divorce. The 52-year-old actor has been spotted with and without the ring as the couple faced speculation that they were splitting up.

Another source told Fox News Digital: “Ben was full of energy as usual. He was busy with his kids and work and seems to be doing well.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to representatives for Lopez and Affleck for comment.

Rumors about the couple’s wedding have plagued Hollywood heavyweights for months. Sources told People magazine in June that Lopez was living in the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills residence while Affleck was staying in a rental apartment nearby while they tried to sell the expensive mansion.

“He started moving out a while ago,” a source told Fox News Digital at the time. “The marriage is completely over and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted so badly to make it work.”

Affleck and Lopez said “I do” for the first time during a Surprise wedding in Las Vegas in 2022.

A month later, the newlyweds hosted a ceremony for friends and family in the backyard of the $8 million Georgia mansion that Affleck bought when the couple began dating 20 years ago.

Lopez and Affleck met in 2002 while filming “Gigli.” The couple planned to marry in 2003, but then postponed the wedding. In early 2004, the two broke off their engagement.

Affleck continued: marry Jennifer Garnerwhom he met on the set of “Pearl Harbor” in 2000. Garner was married to Scott Foley at the time, and Affleck has publicly stated that the two fell in love while filming “Daredevil” in 2002. The “Good Will Hunting” actor was in a relationship with Lopez at the time.

Affleck and Garner became engaged in 2005. They had three children together before divorcing in 2018.

Lopez has been married three times. She married Ojani Noa in 1997, but divorced in 1998. In 2001, the pop star married backup dancer Cris Judd. The couple separated in 2003. After her separation from Affleck, Lopez married Marc Anthony in 2004.
