Jennifer Garner sparked a huge reaction from her fans over the weekend when she reminisced and shared a photo from her childhood.

The fun-loving star shared a photo of herself sleeping on the couch, hugging her pet, with a book on her knee.

“I wish you a long weekend with a couch, a book and a cat in the style of the 1970s,” she wrote next to the picture.

In the photo, Jennifer sported a bowl cut, a checked shirt and rolled up jeans. But it was the patterned sofa that was the topic of conversation among her followers.

The striking brown and white design was typical of the era and was very popular with fans. They commented: “You could sleep wonderfully on these pillows,” and “the sofa is incredible.”

Jennifer is the mother of three children, Samuel, 12, Fin, 15, and Violet, 18, whom she has with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

Despite their divorce, they remained friends and continue to successfully raise their children together.

Ben, who recently separated from his second ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, recently reunited with Jen to drop off her eldest child at college in Connecticut.

The teenager begins her first year of college at Yale and it is an exciting time for the family.

Jennifer supported Ben during his split from JLo, proving once again that the two still have a close bond.

After announcing the end of their marriage in 2015, Jennifer spoke openly about Ben and confessed that she will always love him.

In a revealing interview with Vanity Fair, she said, “I didn’t marry the fat movie star; I married him and I would go back and make that decision again. I ran down the beach to him and I would do it again. You can’t have those three babies and so much of what we had.”

Jennifer added: “He’s the love of my life. What can I do about it? He’s the most brilliant person in the room, the most charismatic, the most generous.

“He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun shines somewhere else, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”

At the time, the “Alias” actress explained: “He’s still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I’m still the only person who knows some of his truths.”

Jennifer has been dating businessman and CEO John C. Miller since 2018. Neither of them has spoken publicly about their relationship, which has mostly been confirmed by photos or sightings.

When asked if marriage would ever be an option for her again, Jennifer told People, “I don’t know. I’m so far away from it. And I don’t know if marriage would have to be a part of it… I mean, I definitely don’t think I’m going to be single forever. But now is not the time. I don’t need to complicate it, I’m fine.”
