Jennifer Aniston calls her Emmy look “California Sleek”

Red carpet icon Jennifer Aniston has arrived at the 2024 Emmys. Tonight she is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in The morning show– In the series, she has played the fictional news anchor Alex Levy, who is inspired by Diane Sawyer, for four seasons now.

“Tonight was such a big night and I wanted a look that was effortlessly elegant,” Aniston tells Vogue exclusively. “California chic, if you will.”

Aniston wore a nude and pearl-embellished Oscar de la Renta column dress, which was paired with archival Art Deco jewels from Tiffany & Co. Her nails were painted in a timeless, soft pink and white French manicure style by manicurist Kim Truong.

Aniston’s blow-dry looked similarly sleek and smooth, thanks to her longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan and her own brand, LolaVie.

“Before heat styling, we used the Perfecting Leave-In Conditioner to give my hair a smooth, shiny finish without weighing it down,” explains Aniston. “I can always count on this product to make my hair look its best.” The brand’s Sculpting Paste and Lightweight Hair Oil completed the look. “The combination tames flyaways, fights frizz, and keeps my style in place all night long,” says Aniston. “I can’t live without it.”

During an interview on the red carpet with Good morning America Co-host Robin Roberts, the two recalled when Aniston visited Roberts on set to research for her The morning show role. “I was impressed by what happens behind the scenes,” says Aniston. “The total chaos is just insane, and then the countdown of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and everything is smooth as silk.” Just like her appearance.
