Jenna Ortega and Glen Powell will collaborate on a currently untitled film from the director of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

According to Deadline, the two have joined the secret – and currently untitled – project of JJ Abrams, who also directed “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” as well as the films “Star Trek” and “Mission: Impossible.”

Since the project currently has no title, details are understandably scarce, but the report indicates that the project, which is also being written and produced by Abrams, will not contain any elements of time travel.

Ortega, who will soon be seen in “Beetlejuice,” rose to fame through her roles in “You,” “Scream” and “Wednesday.” In the latter, the actress plays the cult character Wednesday Addams in the prequel to “The Addams Family.”

The Netflix series will return for a second season next year. Ortega announced in May that production was underway in Ireland. She also commented on the new additions to the cast, which include Billie Piper and Steve Buscemi.

Powell, who previously had roles in “Scream Queens” and “Everybody Wants Some!!,” has gained greater fame in recent years through roles in “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Anyone But You,” “Hit Man” and most recently “Twisters,” a standalone sequel to 1996’s “Twister.”

Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the film follows a new group of storm chasers in Oklahoma as they investigate a series of tornadoes. In addition to Powell, the cast also includes Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney and Sasha Lane.

Powell, who played Lieutenant Jake “Hangman” Seresin in “Top Gun: Maverick,” recently provided an update on the planned third film in the series, saying he has a start date for production on the action film.

Wednesday Streams on Netflix, while Twisters is now in theaters.
