Javier Bardem had the sweetest things to say about my wife Penelope Cruz and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Oscar winner thanked his wife during his acceptance speech at the San Sebastian International Film Festival 2024 on Friday evening (September 20) in San Sebastian, Spain.

The ceremony took place almost exactly 30 years after Javier won the award for best actor at the festival for the film Numbered days.

Penelope seemed to cry during the speech as she blew kisses Javier from their seat.

“I want to express my gratitude to a woman I love and with whom I have shared my life and thank her deeply for the kind of person she is and how she can take responsibility for life, the life of her children, the life of her family, her mother, her friends, the life of others, the life of the many people she does not know, for whom she suffers and cares, and undoubtedly also for the life of this gentleman who is here, who loves her and thanks her very much for that,” Javier said on stage (via THR).

Javier And Penelope are one of only four Hollywood couples to achieve this impressive feat!
