Jason Garrett reacts to the Cowboys’ home loss to the Ravens and criticizes lack of physicality

The Dallas Cowboys lost a tough game to the Baltimore Ravens 28-25 on Sunday, leaving them at 1-2 so far in the 2024 season. And players are starting to feel the tension on the sidelines, as several Dallas players yelled at their teammates during the game. On Sunday night, ahead of the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Chiefs and Falcons, former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett criticized Dallas and its lack of physicality.

“They’re not a physical football team. Everyone on the Cowboys knows that now. You have to go in there and run the ball. They’ve been dominant at home the last two years. I think the teams have found the formula.” Garrett explained this on the show “Football Night in America”.

It’s the kind of locker room dysfunction you never want to see this early in the season. The Cowboys have been criticized a lot over the years for not delivering in the postseason, though they’ve still managed to win 12 games each of the last three seasons.

However, early losses and the behavior of CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons – two of the team’s biggest stars – seriously question their playoff hopes.
