Curtis, 65, will appear in Crazy Fridaythe upcoming sequel to the 2003 A crazy Fridayin which she reprises her role as Tess, the mother of Lohan’s Anna.
As filming on the production, which will be released in 2025, neared completion, Curtis praised Lohan, 38, on social media on Friday, August 16.
“The last FRIDAY of this FREAKIEST FRIDAY or should I call it CRYDAY”, the Knife out The actress wrote on Instagram: “I’m especially grateful to my ULTIMATE on-screen daughter @lindsaylohan without whom we could not have made this film. Ever.”

Curtis, whose A crazy Friday The character, who swapped bodies with her teenage daughter in the original film, added that Lohan gave her a valuable new piece of clothing during the film’s production.
“She (Lohan) gifted me a @suziekondi dress after I complimented her on hers and I wore it today in her honor,” Curtis wrote in the post. “We still have a few days next week but it’s slowly coming to an end.”

Earlier this month, Disney released an official synopsis for Crazy Friday“The story begins years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) went through an identity crisis,” it says. “Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come with merging two families, Tess and Anna discover that lightning really can strike twice.”
In addition to Curtis and Lohan, the sequel also features some A crazy Friday‘s original stars including Chad Michael Murray And Mark Harmon.
Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to the limelight. After working as a model as a child, Lohan played twins Annie James and Hallie Parker in 1998’s The Twins, alongside Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson. On June 24, Disney Studios released a TikTok clip of Lohan and Curtis on the set of Crazy Fridaywith the caption: “The band is back together and coming to theaters in 2025.” The couple were seen poking their heads out of their trailers and posing for photos. Both stars posted the video on their respective Instagram accounts.
The fans were understandably over the moon about the reunion of the two, as were one or two celebrities, including John Stamos who shared his excitement in the comments section of Lohan’s post. “Can I make a guest appearance?” Full house Alum, 61, wrote at the time.
Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowski And Rosalind Chao will also be featured in the second episode of A crazy Friday. The group is complemented by new additions Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto And Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
