Ja’Marr Chase touchdown earns lucky bettor $117,000

Everyone loves accumulator bets, but they rarely hit the jackpot. Especially those whose odds of winning are calculated at almost 469:1.

But after Week 3 games concluded on Sunday night, one bettor was hoping that Ja’Marr Chase would win big for him on Monday night.

He placed a three-way bet in which three different players would score the first touchdown in their respective games.

In the first leg, Amari Cooper scored the first goal in the Giants’ game against the Browns at +700 and in the second leg, Jonathan Taylor scored the first goal in the Bears’ game against the Colts at +500.

This was the case for both players, meaning the bettor had a generous cashout option from DraftKings Sportsbook.

His original bet of $250 paid him $11,536.92 if he foregoes his third leg, which featured Chase scoring the first touchdown in the Monday Night Football game between the Bengals and the Commanders.

Instead, he let his bet stand and risked winning nothing if Chase didn’t follow through.

But Chase did it with flying colors.

Just over three minutes into the first quarter, Joe Burrow threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Chase, giving Cincinnati a 7-0 lead.

At odds of +46805, this means the bettor won a whopping $117,262.50 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Check out his reaction below.

Chase continued to score, finishing with six catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-33 loss to the Bengals.
