On Monday evening, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonialists attacked a Palestinian family and set their dogs on them near the Al-Awja spring, north of Jericho in the occupied northeastern part of the West Bank.
Local resident Mohammad Yousef Ali Adawi told WAFA news agency that the settlers had thrown stones at his family of five near the spring.
He added that the colonists also let their dogs loose on the family before stealing a tent and picnic supplies they were carrying.
Adawi said he and his family escaped unharmed and had to leave their belongings behind.
It is worth mentioning that the colonial rulers have significantly increased their crimes and abuses against the Palestinians in the region. They are constantly trying to control the source and prevent the Palestinians from reaching it. By this means, they want to force the residents, especially the Bedouin communities in the region, to leave the country, as they have lost their water resources and land.
Late Monday evening, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonists killed a Palestinian, Khalil Salem Khalil Ziyada40, and three moderately injured in the village of Wad Rahhal south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
On Monday afternoon and overnight, the Israeli army continued bombing and shelling various parts of the devastated Gaza Strip, killing or wounding dozens of Palestinians throughout the devastated coastal enclave.
Israel has killed at least 40,435 people and injured more than 93,534 since October 7, 2023, mostly children, women and the elderly. In addition, there are thousands of missing Palestinians, most of whom lie under the rubble of bombed houses and buildings, on destroyed streets and in bombed alleys throughout the Gaza Strip.
It is worth mentioning that the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor states that between October 7, 2023 and August 21, 2024, Israel killed 48,380 Palestinians (43,592 civilians), including 16,008 children and 10,351 women, 522 health professionals, 301 civil defense personnel and 171 journalists, and injured 92,320.
