AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 women’s basketball season. The schedule includes nine home games at Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones will play five straight home games to open the season, including a preseason game against Central College on Oct. 30, before playing their regular-season opener against Chicago State on Monday, Nov. 4. Iowa State will also play Indiana State (Nov. 7), Southern (Nov. 10) and St. Thomas (Nov. 14) at Hilton Coliseum during the offseason.
ISU will face in-state opponents in back-to-back meetings, traveling to UNI on Nov. 20 before hosting Drake on Nov. 24.
The Cyclones will travel to the 2024 Elevance Health Fort Myers Women’s Tip-Off to play defending national champion South Carolina on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28). Iowa State will also face Middle Tennessee (Nov. 30) in the Sunshine State.
The Cyclones return to Hilton Coliseum in December to host USC-Upstate (December 3) and Central Michigan (December 8). The annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series game against Iowa will be played in Iowa City on December 11. ISU’s final non-conference home game will be against Eastern Illinois on December 15 before Iowa State travels to Uncasville, Connecticut for the December 11th.th annual Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase, sponsored by Invesco QQQ. The Cyclones will play against 2024 Final Four participant UConn at the event.
