Investigation underway into hit-and-run following rollover accident on I-25 and 58th Avenue

ADAMS COUNTY, Colorado – Colorado State Patrol officials say a hit-and-run investigation is underway in Adams County after a white pickup truck allegedly struck a Subaru, causing it to roll over on Interstate 25 and then leave the scene.

The hit-and-run crash occurred late Thursday morning on I-25 southbound at E. 58th Ave. Police say a Subaru Legacy, a Mazda C50 and a Toyota Rav4 were involved.

The suspect vehicle was described as a white pickup truck with green lettering.

Officers were able to determine that the white pickup truck had hit the Subaru Legacy, causing it to roll over. According to a Colorado State Patrol (CSP) spokesperson, the Subaru then crashed into the Mazda C50 and the Toyota Rav4.

A passenger in the Subaru was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately known.

The road was closed on Thursday from 10:53 a.m. to 12:01 p.m.
