Inside Boris Johnson’s son’s dinosaur and monster truck party for his fourth birthday

Boris and Carrie Johnson threw an unforgettable birthday party for their son Wilf and celebrated his fourth birthday with a special dinosaur and monster truck themed event.

The couple, who are also parents to two-year-old Romy and ten-month-old Frank, celebrated Wilf’s birthday with a lavish party on Sunday April 28, with Carrie giving her 90,000 followers on Instagram a glimpse into the fun-filled occasion.

In a series of snaps, Carrie, 36, revealed that although the day was “utter chaos” they “loved” every single second of it as they enjoyed everything from the children’s entertainment to the soft play.

To keep with the dinosaur theme, the party featured a large Jurassic Park-themed sign that featured a red and black image of a dinosaur next to the words “Wilf if turning 4.” To make things even wilder, the sign was placed in front of a wall of fake foliage.

In keeping with the dinosaur theme, the decorations also included lots of blue-green and grey-brown balloons as well as black dinosaur footprints and dinosaur cardboard cutouts.

To keep the little ones entertained, the party also featured entertainment from famous children’s entertainer Action Amanda, who got the children moving while music played in the background and a dinosaur mascot danced along.

The party also featured an incredible monster truck bouncy castle and a dinosaur-themed inflatable slide.

And of course, no party would be complete without a birthday cake. To complete the theme, Wilf was rewarded with a cake covered in blue fondant and featuring dinosaur models and pictures of monster trucks.

Captioning the series of snaps and videos, doting mum Carrie wrote: ‘Today we made dreams come true with a monster truck and dinosaur party to celebrate Wilf’s fourth birthday.

“Thank you to Rachel from @littlepartymonkeys_ for the amazing dinosaur mascot and for just being such a nice person. You make parties so much fun.”

“Thank you @actionamanda for always getting the party started. A bundle of positive energy, you got us all dancing and now I need to lie down for a while, I need you around all the time as my hype woman!”

She added: “Thank you lovely Vanessa from @blooms_and_balloons_events for the incredible balloon and dinosaur display. I can’t believe you even picked the moss from your own roof for the dinosaur eggs! That really went the extra mile! You are so, so talented.

“And thanks to Sam from @kidsplaybouncycastles for the dinosaur AND monster truck bouncy castles and soft play. You nailed the theme perfectly! I’ll never forget Wilf’s face when he saw it. Thank you

The happy occasion comes after Carrie revealed a “dose of reality” after her daughter Romy was hospitalized following a fall at kindergarten.

“The last 48 hours have been pretty grim here. My daughter fell at kindergarten and had to go to hospital as the cut was pretty deep. Then all three children caught a vomiting virus and were sick several times. I’m looking after them alone while I have a bad cold and am also feeling pretty unwell,” she wrote.

She added: “A dose of reality here!”
