Indiana Pacers have reached an agreement with Bally Sports for broadcast in the 2024/25 season

According to court documents, Diamond Sports Group has reached an agreement with both the NHL and NBA announced Friday that will see select NBA and NHL teams’ games broadcast on Bally Sports’ regional networks.

Games from nine NHL teams and 13 NBA teams will be broadcast on a regional sports network owned by Bally Sports in 2024/25. Diamond Sports Group is currently working on an exit plan under the US Chapter 11 procedure after filing for bankruptcy in March 2023.

If Diamond Sports Group’s exit plan under the U.S. Chapter 11 process is not approved by the end of next season, its agreement with the 22 professional sports teams will be terminated. Terrible announcementThe contracts will be continued if an exit plan is in place.

The Indiana Pacers are one of 13 teams that have an agreement with Diamond Sports Group, meaning their games will be shown on Bally Sports Indiana during the 2024-25 season. They are joined by the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma Thunder, Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs.

“We have reached a new agreement with Diamond Sports Group for the 2024-25 season in which Diamond RSNs will broadcast local games of 13 NBA teams. The Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans have declined to continue broadcasting their games on Diamond RSNs and will soon announce further details on how to watch the upcoming season’s games in their respective markets. This new agreement is subject to bankruptcy court approval,” the NBA said in a statement.
