The clock is ticking on Jalen Haralson’s college decision.

The 6-foot-8 Haralson, a five-star prospect and the No. 14 recruit in the nation for the class of 2025 according to 247Sports, will make his college announcement at 7 p.m. Wednesday at La Lumiere School in LaPorte. Haralson will choose from three finalists: Indiana, Michigan State and Notre Dame.

Haralson played his first two high school seasons at Fishers before transferring to La Lumiere for his junior year. He was part of the U17 USA national basketball team that won gold in Istanbul in July. Haralson averaged 11.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists for the USA team.

OSTERMAN: Mike Woodson has gone where the talent is, and in the class of 2025, that is his own backyard.

Haralson’s decision will be broadcast live on the 247Sports YouTube channel.

Haralson was a dominant player at Fishers from the start of his freshman year. Before he had even played a single game in high school, he received offers from Indiana and Maryland. Then, in the summer between his freshman and sophomore years, many others came along, including Michigan State. Within a month of taking the coaching position at Notre Dame in March of last year, Micah Shrewsberry offered Haralson a scholarship.

Indiana received a commitment from Trent Sisley, a 6-foot-4 forward from Montverde Academy (Florida) who played his first three seasons at Heritage Hills in southern Indiana. Sisley, a four-star prospect, is currently the only newcomer in IU’s class of 2025. The Hoosiers are also finalists for Braylon Mullins, a five-star prospect from Greenfield-Central who took an official visit this weekend.

Notre Dame received its first commitment, also from an in-state talent, when Brady Koehler committed on Monday. The 6-foot-10 Cathedral star is a top-100 talent in the 247sports network.

Michigan State currently has no recruits for the class of 2025.

Haralson has made official visits to Indiana (weekend of August 31), Notre Dame (September 7) and Michigan State (September 14) in recent weeks.
