Scott and Kelley Wolf are celebrating a big anniversary!

On Wednesday, May 29, Nancy Drew The star shared a sweet message to his longtime love on Instagram to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

“20 years ago today we began our married journey together. 20 years later, with our three beautiful children, multiple generations of fur babies, and what feels like a lifetime of adventures and experiences together, I love you now more than ever,” he wrote in the caption.

The post included four photos of the couple. The first shows the couple in a similar pose, except one was taken recently and the other is a black and white image from the past. The last two photos are from their wedding day.

“As blessed as we have been and are, we have certainly been tested over the past few years. You continue to be the force of light and love and life that gives meaning to everything,” Scott added. “You are the rock of our family, and even when you go above and beyond what sometimes feels impossible, you have always found a way to hold on to who you really are and who and what you love most.”

Scott continued to share his love for Kelley, expressing that she “inspires” him.

“I am eternally grateful that you chose to walk this path with me. Happy 20th anniversary, @kelleywolf. May our lights shine together forever,” Scott concluded.

Kelley, who starred in the reality TV show The real world: New Orleansalso sent a heartfelt message to her husband.

In two posts, the life coach looked back on their relationship and talked about a moment when she was ready to end their engagement because she felt like she was falling back into “toxic” patterns from her past. “My wonderful fiancé did little things to annoy me, to challenge me. It was almost like he was looking for a reason to find fault with this truly magical connection,” she wrote on Instagram, referring to her relationship with Scott.

“I tried to be more accommodating and less annoying, whatever it was that seemed to be turning him off of me. And then one morning I woke up and said, ‘Wait a minute.’ I’ve played this game before and I’m not going to play it again,” she said.

Kelley recalled telling her now-husband, “I love you. I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone. I almost loved you so much that I stopped loving myself. But I reminded myself that nothing in life will last if I leave myself behind. I can imagine the future of that scenario and one day you’re going to wake up and wonder what happened to that girl and I won’t even remember who she was. Well, I had promised her I would never leave her again. So when you’re ready, I’ll be here, but I’m not going to stay here while someone tries to find fault with me.”

Scott stopped her before she could leave and said, “Let’s do the hard part, the uncomfortable part. The part where I have to look in the mirror and see my old pattern of behavior, where I tried to find fault with someone, hoping to prove that no one can really do the hard stuff and stick with it.”

Kelley added: “And that day – I won’t go into details – we went into the cave. Together. And when we came out, you couldn’t find two people who were more connected and more clear about the promise we wanted to make to each other.”

She went on to say that her wedding day felt like “Magic. Truth. Love and HOPE.”

Looking back, she sees that conversation as one that “set the stage for so many things.” She ended her post by saying, “One thing we both learned that day is that you have to be willing to love yourself the most to truly love someone else the most. And yes, like all beautiful love stories, we choose the power of love over and over again.”

The couple married in 2004 and have two sons: Jackson and Miller, and a daughter: Lucy.

In 2022, Scott and Kelley spoke to PEOPLE about the secret to their long marriage, which they believe lies in communication. “I feel so lucky to be with someone who recognizes when something needs to be talked out,” the Group of Five Alumna. “I’m always open to a conversation. And I knew in my heart that Kelley would be an incredible partner, mother and friend, but to see her grow and thrive and be a part of her life is the most precious thing in the world.”
