Hulk Hogan movie canceled – TJR Wrestling

The long-discussed Hulk Hogan movie has been canceled.

Back in 2019, it was reported that Chris Hemsworth was set to play the role of Hulk Hogan in a film about the WWE legend. Although Hogan insisted that Hemsworth play him in the film, the project never really got off the ground.

In a late 2023 update, Hogan noted that production had not yet begun.

In a new interview with Variety, director Todd Phillips virtually confirmed that the film was scrapped.

“I love what we tried, but it doesn’t work for me,”

Hulk Hogan embroiled in another racism controversy

Hulk Hogan is embroiled in yet another racism scandal after making a series of comments about US Vice President Kamala Harris. During an event to promote his new beer, American Made, Hogan attacked Harris before blaming his comments on alcohol abuse.

In a short online video, Hogan can be seen interacting with the crowd, doing a sort of Steve Austin impersonation that has fans chanting “What?” Later in the video, Hogan asks if people want to see him throw Kamala Harris to the ground, adding, “Should I drop Kamala’s leg on the ground?”

Hogan continues, “Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Native American? OK, I like that!” He then makes fun of Native Americans by raising his hand and saying “What?” In response, he adds, “I’m going to get in trouble for that.”

In 2015, Hogan was removed from the Hall of Fame and fired from WWE after a video of a racist tirade from 2007 was made public.
