Originally produced for the US Roku Channel, Slip is about Mae (Zoe Lister-Jones), a thirty-something woman who, despite her seemingly perfect marriage, becomes restless in her home environment and longs for more. After a one-night stand, she wakes up to find that she is now in a parallel universe, married to the other man, and her life with her husband is missing. So begins an adventure in which Mae travels from universe to universe, experiencing other versions of her life and searching for the one she has lost.
Each episode of Slip was written and directed by Lister-Jones. This “twisted, hilarious and unexpected love story” is a deeply personal work with echoes of the author’s previous films How it Ends and Band Aid. Featuring a very diverse cast that includes Tymika Tafari as Gina, Emily Hampshire as Sandy, Amar Chadha-Patel as Eric and Whitmer Thomas as Mae’s lost husband Elijah, Slip is a quirky romantic comedy that is not to be missed.

Episode 1: The Wife
Mae is married to Elijah and has a one-night stand with Eric. When she wakes up the next morning, she finds that she has entered a parallel universe in which she and Eric are now married and all traces of her life with Elijah have been erased.
Episode 2: The Lush
Mae is inexplicably thrown into a marriage with Eric and tries to put the pieces of this mysterious puzzle together, seeking out Gina, Elijah, and anyone else who will listen in an attempt to somehow get her old life back.
Episode 3: The Mother
After being locked out of Eric’s loft, Mae meets Sandy. An intense new bond develops, but it quickly turns on its head.
Episode 4: The Imposter
Mae meets Rose, who gives her more information than she can possibly handle, and tries to involve Gina in her nightmare while they search for the person who took Mae’s place.
Episode 5: The Widow
Mae runs into Elijah by chance, but he doesn’t recognize her in her current reality. They start hanging out after he offers her a drink, and eventually end up at Elijah’s apartment.
Episode 6: The Girlfriend
Mae spends time with Elijah, trying to recreate the early stages of their relationship in an alternate reality. They spend the night together, but everything is ruined when Gina shows up and reveals a lie about Mae.
Episode 7: The Dakini
Mae hits rock bottom without all the things she always took for granted. When Mae meets Elijah, she tells him everything that has happened to her.
