Medal d’Oro | Sarah Andrew
A full brother to Horse of the Year and Champion Mare Rachel Alexandra (Medalia d’Oro), Epic Horses sold for $1.35 million on the first day of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in Lexington. Hill ‘n’ Dale in Xalapa consigned the foal on February 23.
Hip 112 was bred by Dede McGehee and is by Lotta Kim (Roar), who is also responsible for GSP Dolphus and Gladys. Rachel Alexandra is also the dam of Grade I winner Rachel Valentina (Bernardini).
