The launch of OLLY’s Women’s Health and Sexual Health supplement line in 2023 was a pivotal moment addressing women’s health and developing products by women, for women. The line includes Lovin’ Libido, Beat the Bloat and Happy Hoo-Ha – innovative supplements to support and address common issues women face around libido, bloat and vaginal health. OLLY’s values are embedded not only in its products, but also in its actions. From leading and encouraging conversations about women’s health and mental wellness to the global launch of the Women’s Wellness supplement line in 2023, OLLY continues to make an impact. Notably, Happy Hoo-Ha from the line was named Best New Supplement for Women by consumers earlier this year. OLLY remains committed to destigmatizing and normalizing these important conversations and reaffirms its commitment to women’s health, which was evident during its event today.

“Our goal at OLLY is not only to develop products that address women’s unmet needs, but also to break the silence around women’s health issues and pave the way for a more inclusive future,” says Hanneke WillenborgCEO of OLLY. “Our support of the Women’s College Hospital Foundation in Canada was born out of a shared vision to advance women’s health equity and support their vital research. This opened the door to creating a forum where women can boldly speak out about their health issues, as we saw at the event today, so OLLY can continue to advocate for meaningful change.”

This year’s event featured a dynamic panel moderated by Martine St-VictorManaging Director of Edelman Montreal and featured CEO of OLLY Hanneke WillenborgCanadian ice hockey player Sarah NurseCo-founder of Monday Girl Rachel Wong, and Dr. Iliana LegaFellow in Women’s Health at the Women’s College Research Institute (WCRI) at Women’s College Hospital (WCH).

Panelists engaged the audience in important discussions about women’s health, sharing personal experiences and practical solutions to open up dialogue about a topic that is often considered taboo. “Women’s health is an issue that needs to be elevated and embraced,” says Nurse. “I’m proud to be part of this amazing event with OLLY and to contribute to a movement that is breaking down barriers and stigmas around women’s health. This event is a critical step in recognizing and addressing the unique challenges women face in their everyday lives.”

Each panelist was carefully selected to share their unique perspectives and expertise during the conversation. Willenborg highlighted OLLY’s future plans to continue supporting women’s health needs and the impact OLLY’s range of women’s wellness and sexual health supplements has on overall wellbeing. Wong provided insights into the impact of women’s health on career advancement and the importance of supporting health initiatives in professional settings. Nurse also spoke about the challenges and successes surrounding women’s health and equality in sport and shared her experiences advocating for greater awareness of women’s health in sport. Finally, Lega shared her medical expertise in the industry and highlighted the importance of research and innovative treatments to improve women’s health outcomes and raise awareness for greater access to healthcare.

“This amazing support from OLLY is critical to advance research and raise awareness of women’s health issues. Their commitment to destigmatizing these challenges is invaluable to our quest to improve women’s health outcomes,” Lega emphasizes. The event was not just about discussing women’s health, but actively working to remove the stigma and encourage a more inclusive dialogue. OLLY aims to create a space where women can talk openly about their health experiences and learn from each other.

OLLY also achieves significant impact through a multi-year approach, starting this year with a donation of 25,000 US dollars to the Women’s College Hospital Foundation to address their greatest health research needs. “We are committed to addressing the often overlooked research and discussion of women’s health issues by encouraging open and honest conversations and funding the research needed to address these issues,” Willenborg adds.
