His mother’s ex-fiancé ruined his wedding after throwing a tantrum because his wife wore his mother’s unused wedding dress – Chip Chick

This man’s mother is career-obsessed and is very much in the public eye because of her job.

His mother has been dating Tom for some time, and he has a lot of trouble dealing with her busy schedule and frequency of travel.

So his mother gave Tom carte blanche to meet other women. When his mother was home, she met with Tom, and when she was away, Tom did whatever he wanted. The arrangement worked and Tom eventually proposed to his mother.

“Well, Tom was caught publicly ‘cheating’ and my mother left him for PR reasons and called off the wedding,” he explained.

Tom was furious about this, but his mother and Tom remained friends. Immediately afterward, he began planning his own wedding, and he and his now wife did not want anything lavish.

They tried to do a lot of things themselves to save costs, and his mother told his wife she could keep her wedding dress since she would never wear it.

His wife loved the dress and was very grateful for his mother’s generous offer. On his wedding day, his mother showed up with Tom as her escort, but he and his wife had no problem with that.

“They are now supposedly ‘just friends’ and she claims he doesn’t live with her; she ‘just keeps everything he owns.’ Either way, their relationship is strained,” he explained.

“So, Tom noticed she was wearing my mother’s dress and he threw a tantrum. He got drunk and made a huge scene. He said he couldn’t believe she gave my wife the dress, (and then asked), ‘Is everything disposable for you?'”
