This dramatic season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” is coming to an end.
Last week, Bachelor Nation watched as Jenn Tran, ABC’s first Asian-American Bachelorette, had her fantasy suite dates with her final three men: Devin, Marcus, and Jonathon. And now there are just two men left vying for her hand.
Tonight, Jenn’s search for love will come to an end when either Marcus or Devin becomes her fiancé.

Who did Jenn send home during the fantasy suite dates on The Bachelorette?
You could almost hear Bachelor Nation’s breaking hearts as Jenn said goodbye to Jonathon, a 27-year-old creative director from Los Angeles.
“I know it doesn’t help our situation right now, but I was walking on the beach all by myself last night and I found these chairs overlooking the ocean and I just needed a second to think,” Jonathon told Jenn after the rose ceremony. “And the whole time I was sitting there thinking, I found the clarity I needed. There was no one I would rather be sitting there with than you. And I realized that it had taken me too long to realize how incredible you are.”
The two said their final goodbyes and as he drove off, he told the cameras that he could “see an incredible future with this girl and I feel like the biggest idiot because something incredible was right in front of me and I was too much of my own enemy to realize it until it was too late.”
What happened in the last episode of “The Bachelorette”?
Last week on The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All, Bachelor Nation saw the dramatic conclusion to Jenn’s fantasy suites and heard from the men how they felt about their experiences on the show.
And the footage of Jenn’s fantasy suites tied right in with the cliffhanger ABC left fans with on Monday night. Monday’s episode ended with Devin questioning whether Jenn loves him enough to choose him, or if she loves him at all.
The show jumped right back into that storyline, opening with footage of Devin knocking on Jenn’s door to tell her that he didn’t know if he could continue the show without knowing if Jenn loved him back.
Jenn responded and Devin left her hotel room with a smile.
The two men left to propose to Jenn in next week’s finale are Marcus and Devin. Fans watched Jenn send Jonathon home at the rose ceremony, and after footage of his emotional exit was shown, he joined the other men on stage to talk about his breakup with Jenn.
But it’s not all bad news for Jonathon – host Jesse Palmer has officially invited him to join the cast of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2025. Fan favorite Hakeem, who caused a stir on social media with his animated facial expressions at the beginning of the season, has also been invited to search for love in “Paradise” in 2025.
In true “Tell All” style, host Jesse Palmer addressed some of the conflicts that arose between the men throughout the season.
Sam M., voted by fans as one of the main villains of the season, eventually came under fire for his behavior on the show. In case you missed it, Sam M. and Jenn had a heated argument early on, but it mostly turned physical – when asked what he liked about Jenn, he dodged the question with revelations about himself and even dropped the “L” bomb in a panic. Jenn dumped Sam M. after episode 6.
They also discussed his problems with Devin, who wasn’t there to speak for himself – but Jeremy did it for him.
“What about Sam M.?” Jesse Palmer asked the men. “Did he keep an eye on the most important thing?”
“If Devin was the main thing, then yes…” Jeremy said, drawing laughter and applause from the audience. “Have you ever seen ‘Mean Girls’? And Lindsay Lohan’s character says she hates Regina George, but she only talks about Regina George… That was typical Sam.”
Afterwards, Sam M. sat in the hot seat next to Jesse Palmer while the audience watched a compilation of footage from his time on the show. In response, Sam seemed apologetic and a fan of the word “truthfully.” Jesse asked him if he really loved Jenn when he told her that, or if he did it to avoid being sent home.
“I think Jenn and I think a lot of other people questioned the credibility of what you said,” Jesse said to Sam. “Sam, did you really love her? I think for a lot of people who saw it, it was like a Hail Mary when you said that.”
Sam said he was “100%” honest and that he really loved Jenn but just couldn’t find the right words to tell her. After some back and forth between the men and Sam, who kept dropping the word “honest,” Jenn finally took the stage and confronted Sam as well.
“I’m going to say this in words you’ll understand, so I’ll keep the most important thing to the most important thing… I wasn’t upset that you didn’t know how to describe love. Obviously, we’re on very different emotional and intellectual levels,” Jenn told Sam.
“What upset me, though, was the fact that I looked back at it all and saw how you interacted with these men: the huffing and puffing out of your chest everywhere, the obvious disrespect towards everyone. And besides, our relationship was all about you the whole time: how you felt in the moment, what you wanted to do. Everything was about you.”
At the end of her speech to Sam, Jenn added that as the season aired, he recruited family and friends to defend him and his actions on social media.
“You looked at that again and instead of growing and learning from it, you decided to go one step further,” Jenn said. “And then when you’re a grown man, your friends and family will have to go online and defend your honor.”
She also accused Sam of blaming his bad behavior on the producers, the show’s editorial team and ABC instead of “taking responsibility for (his) actions.”
“At the end of the day, the man I saw on that TV show is the exact man I sat across from throughout this entire journey,” Jenn said. She called him delusional and said she feels very sorry for whoever Sam ends up meeting if he doesn’t learn to take responsibility for his actions.
The crowd applauded and Sam apologized “sincerely.”
“I think I came here and spoke with a lot of responsibility, honestly,” Sam said. “I definitely lost a lot of myself in some of those moments… I wish I could go back and redo them honestly.”
Is Grant Ellis the next Bachelor?
After his emotional exit in episode six, fans were delighted to quickly learn they would be seeing more of Grant Ellis next year. The 30-year-old day trader was quietly announced as the lead of season 29 of The Bachelor earlier this month.
“As the Bachelor, Ellis wants to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure and real connections,” ABC said in a press release. “He hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.”
Ellis will be only the second Black Bachelor lead in the reality dating show’s 20-plus year history. The first was Matt James in the show’s 25th season in 2021.
When can I watch “The Golden Bachelorette”?
More Bachelor Nation content coming soon! ABC announced earlier this year that they would begin The Golden Bachelorette with the fan favorite from Gerry Turner’s season – Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old private school administrator from Maryland.
“The Golden Bachelorette” will premiere this fall on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT. ABC has not yet announced an exact date.
The episodes have a broadcast time of 90 minutes, 30 minutes longer than the first season of “The Golden Bachelor”.
