Here are all the new Disney ships coming into service – Cruise industry news

With a current order from Meyer Werft, the number of Disney-branded ships that will be put into service in the next few years increases to four.

A special feature is that three ships will sail under the Disney Cruise Line brand, while a recently announced new build will be operated by Oriental Land Co. (OLC).

Here is the full list of Disney branded ships currently on order:

The premiere of the Disney Treasure is planned for the end of this year. It is currently in the final stages of construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

As a sister ship to Disney Wish, built in 2022, the ship will begin service in December with a series of seven-day cruises to the Caribbean departing from Port Canaveral.

Following the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure, the Disney Destiny is scheduled to debut sometime in 2025 as the third ship in Disney Cruise Line’s Wish class.

The ship, which can accommodate 2,500 guests, is currently being built at Meyer Werft in Germany. Further details about its maiden voyage and initial itineraries have yet to be announced.

The Disney Adventure is set to become Disney Cruise Line’s largest cruise ship and will also enter service in 2025. The 208,000-ton ship, previously ordered for Dream Cruises, will be built at MV Werften in Germany.

The Disney Adventure also marks the company’s debut in Southeast Asia and offers year-round cruises from Singapore.

A fourth Wish-class ship is scheduled to be delivered in 2028. Will be built by Meyer Werft in Germany, The Disney-branded ship is operated by Oriental Land Co. (OCL), which owns and operates the Tokyo Disney Resort.

According to a press release, The ship will be registered in Japan and is expected to operate year-round in the country from early 2029.
