Her stepmom was freaked out when she said she couldn’t bring a cooler of her favorite wine to her wedding – Chip Chick

This 29-year-old woman is getting married in just a few months. A few days ago, her stepmother asked her what drinks would be served at the event.

She told her stepmother that there would be an open bar with liquor, beer, wine and some unique cocktails.

Her stepmother was particularly keen to know more about the wines and replied that she was not sure; she only knew that there would be a house white and a house red wine.

“She said she, my dad and our family friends are very picky about the type of Chardonnay they like, and I told her I planned to surprise my dad (who contributed a generous amount to the wedding) by picking out a nice bottle or two of Chardonnay from their specialty wine list and being there just for her,” she explained.

“She asked if it was enough for her friends, and I said the bottles were about $80 each, so I would only buy two, not enough for many people (there is no cheaper Chardonnay option on their menu; all of their specialty wines are pretty expensive).”

“Then she asked if she could bring her own. I told her I had no idea if she just put some in her purse – but she said she was thinking of bringing a cooler with a few bottles.”

She reminded her stepmother that it was a very upscale wedding venue and that it was not classy to bring a cooler full of wine.

She asked her stepmother if she would have done the same for her cousin’s lavish wedding, which they had all attended a few weeks ago.

Her stepmother completely panicked and stormed off in anger, while she remained calm, composed and collected throughout the argument.
