Henry Winkler and Ron Howard honor 50 years of “Happy Days” at the 2024 Emmys

Ayyyyy! Henry Winkler and Ron Howard reunited on Sunday at the 2024 Emmys and celebrated the 50th anniversary of Beautiful days.

Dressed in black suits, Howard and Winkler stood behind a booth at their local bar, Arnold’s. The TV actors also met again at the 2023 Emmys in January. Ted Danson, Rhea Pearlman, Kelsey Grammer and John Ratzenberger from Cheers reunited (of course in their infamous bar), while the cast of Everything in the family, MartinAnd Grey’s Anatomy also came together. TV icons Carol Burnett and Joan Collins also performed.

Although the cast reunited at the 2024 Emmys, Jesse Collins Entertainment executive producer Dionne Harmon said diversity They tried to change things up a bit. “The response to January was incredible and we felt like people really connected to the nostalgia,” they said. “So we wanted to find a way to bring that nostalgia into Sunday’s show without doing the exact same thing. We really focused on TV shows that everyone loved in January, and on Sunday we’re going to focus on the characters, individual characters from all sorts of shows.”
