It is reported that the helicopter struck the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel at around 1:50 a.m. local time on Monday, causing a fire and forcing the evacuation of hundreds of guests. While the helicopter’s sole occupant died at the scene after the crash, two hotel guests in their 80s and 70s were taken to hospital in stable condition.
