The pain of losing a spouse is unimaginable. And even if many widows ultimately decide to remarry, their deceased partner is still close to their hearts.

That’s why some even find ways to honor their deceased spouse at their second wedding.

However, this man does not agree with his fiancée’s plans to include her deceased husband in the upcoming wedding.

To put it in context, he and his fiancée have been together for about three years and only got engaged about six months ago, so they were in the middle of wedding planning, but his fiancée recently surprised him with a question.

More specifically, she asked where he thought a photo of her late husband belonged.

“I was confused and asked her for clarification,” he recalls.

It was then that he learned that she wanted her late husband’s picture to be visible at several points during her wedding.

First, his fiancée wanted one of her bridesmaids to hold a photo of her late husband during the ceremony. She also wanted a photo of him on the dining table during the reception.

“And when she takes photos, she wants to capture him in most of the photos,” he revealed.
