The staff predictions were recently released and now it’s time to hear what you, the fans and readers of Hammer and Rails, think about this weekend’s game against Oregon State.

But first! Don’t get too excited about this question because we’re wondering how everyone’s confidence is after the Notre Dame game. It was a loss, no doubt, but a loss is a loss. So, has your win-loss total changed this season? Let’s take a look.

An incredible 75% of respondents said the loss to Notre Dame impacted and lowered their projected win total for the season. That’s about what I expected. The way Purdue lost was just too much for a lot of people, myself included, to ignore. I’d like to talk to the 1% of respondents who said it increased their projected win total for the season. First, are you OK? Second, do you smell burnt toast? If so, I think you may be having a stroke and should get help immediately.

Next up: What do fans think will happen tomorrow night?

Only 24% of respondents believe Purdue will leave Oregon State with a win. It could have been worse. I expected maybe 10%.
