Alongside the sweet post, she shared a poem by Kahlil Gibran.

Her caption read: “You were born together and you will be together forever. You will be together when the white wings of death scatter your days. Yes, you will even be together in the silent remembrance of God.”

“But let there be space between you, and let the winds of heaven dance between you. Love one another, but make not of love a bond: rather let it be a surging sea between the shores of your souls.

“Prepare one another’s cups, but do not drink from the same cup. Give one another some of your bread, but do not eat from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be merry, but leave each of you to be alone.

“As the strings of a lute are alone, though they resound with the same music. Give your hearts, but do not abandon them to one another. For only the hand of life can encircle your hearts. And stand together, but not too close together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart from one another, and the oak and the cypress do not grow in each other’s shadow.
