“Grey’s Anatomy’s New Character Debuts as Meredith and Catherine in Season 21 Sneak Peek.”

Catherine Fox might have softened her stance on several issues from the year Grey’s Anatomy Season 20’s cliffhanger, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to drop anything and everything. She still wants to be involved in Alzheimer’s research and is willing to do anything, even if her health deteriorates. Grey’s Anatomy In Season 21, Episode 2, “Take Me to Church,” Catherine becomes more lenient on another issue as Bailey tries to get her job back while her health deteriorates after a discovery. According to the official logline below, Blue deals with his past while Winston, Richard and Lucas spend a day out of the hospital. A new face also joins the cast.



“Meredith and Catherine continue to disagree and Meredith confides in Bailey for support. Richard, Winston and Lucas spend the day outside the hospital and Blue has to deal with a relationship from his past. Levi meets the new hospital chaplain.”

The promo rounds out the episode’s storylines as Bailey asks for her job back. Catherine doesn’t make things easy for anyone, especially Bailey, who she believes has excessive self-esteem. Catherine asks her to make an appointment, which Bailey doesn’t take kindly to, but doesn’t show it. Meanwhile, Blue’s ex-fiancée is back at Gray Sloan and this time she’s looking for answers. “I can’t leave here until I know our whole story,” she tells him. It’s not Blue’s favorite subject. When Teddy and Owen return from their week-long break, Teddy learns that she has been demoted and is no longer boss, even though she got her job back. Meredith and Amelia work together to manage Catherine’s health, and when they perform a scan, they discover that her cancer is more extensive than anyone could have expected. “Her liver is full of tumors,” says Amelia.



Gray Sloan’s new chaplain appears in season 21 of Grey’s Anatomy.

Below Jake Borelli’s impending exit Grey’s AnatomyIt was announced that the series would introduce a new gay character to replace Schmitt. Michael Thomas Grant was cast as James. He “joins Gray Sloan as (his) openly gay Episcopal chaplain. He has a special place in his heart for his younger patients, and his warmth, training and spirituality make him feel comfortable and confident in any situation. In his personal life, James is at a crossroads where he is open to love and taking big leaps of faith.” The character will make her debut in “Take Me to Church.”
