The Friends of the Library book flea market is just around the corner! At this flea market lasting several days, you can find great bargains that you can use to expand your own collection or give as gifts to others.

The Preview Sale will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4-7pm to get the best selection. Not a Friends member yet? Visit the Friends Book Store to start your membership or purchase a shopping pass at
the sale for $5. New this year: Friends members can enter as early as 3:45 p.m.

The public sale is open to everyone and will take place on Friday, September 20th from 10am to 5pm and Saturday, September 21st from 10am to 3pm. Saturday is box day: fill a box for $12 (we provide the boxes).

About the Friends of the Collierville Burch Library

The Friends of the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library is a nonprofit group whose purpose is to support the library through volunteerism, fundraising, and sponsorship of programs and services. New members are always welcome. Membership provides you with the opportunity to share thoughts, donate your time, or share your
Talent.

The Friends meet the first Wednesday of every month (except July) at 1:00 p.m. in the Halle Meeting Room in the library. If you would like to join the Friends, you can pick up an application at the library information desk or Friends Again Book Store, or download the membership form (PDF file) from the Friends website at colliervillefriends.org/membership.

The annual membership fee is $20.00.

Book Club

The Friends host a monthly book club, with reading material from the Anne Babin Book Club program in a bag. The group meets the second Monday of every month at 2 p.m. in the Halle Room. New readers are always welcome.

Bookstore Friends Again

The Friends of the Library operates a bookstore in the lobby of the Collierville Burch Library.

Opening hours:

Tuesday to Friday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday: 11am to 2pm

Donate

The Friends of the Collierville Burch Library welcomes new and used books and other library materials.
Donations are either added to the library collection or sold by the Friends to raise money for library needs. Our bookstore and book sales rely on your donations.

We have a book donation return box. It is located in the foyer to the left of the library entrance. You can put your materials in the book donation return box. We welcome donations of the following new and used items:

Fiction, romance novels, non-fiction, young adult books and children’s books

Original DVDs and CDs

Textbooks and journals

Tax-deductible donation forms are available at the Friends Again Bookstore.
