Granville seeks two members for Tree and Landscape Commission

The Granville Township Tree and Landscaping Commission is seeking two township residents to serve a six-year term.

The Tree and Landscape Commission is responsible for reviewing landscape development plans, directing tree plantings in the Village, the annual Arbor Day celebration, the Village Memorial Tree program, and the annual Tree City USA program.

The Commission meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Granville Community Hall.

The commission shall consist of five members who are citizens and do not hold any other office or employment in the village.

The term of office of the members is six years. A representative of the Granville Parish Council shall serve as an ex officio member of this Commission and shall report to the Parish Council.
