PIERCETON, Ind. (WPTA) – A grand opening ceremony and open house were held Saturday for a new wedding venue in Kosciusko County.

Located at 502 North First Street in Pierceton, Kaleidoscope Weddings and Events now offers wedding and event services in a charming, modern venue.

Brian and Ashlee Ryman purchased the venue at auction in October 2023. The building was built in 1919 and was once the Pierceton United Methodist Church.

The Rymans say after the sale was finalized, they had to figure out what they wanted to do with such a beautiful, special building.

Inspired by the ever-changing beauty of a kaleidoscope, the Rymans wanted to provide couples with a space that captures the essence of their unique love stories.

“A kaleidoscope is a symbol of endless possibilities, where each rotation reveals a new and breathtaking pattern. It is this sense of wonder and excitement that we wanted to infuse into every aspect of Kaleidoscope.”

The venue is entirely family-operated, with the Rymans as owners, Michelle Roberts (Ashlee’s mother) as venue manager, and Ed Roberts (Ashlee’s father) as general contractor.
