Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty are engaged!

On Thursday, September 12, the celebrity chef, 57, confirmed the exciting news on Instagram, writing that he was “so happy” for the couple while sharing several sweet photos.

In the carousel of photos, Gordon hugs his daughter from behind as the couple smiles at the camera in one image, while in another, Holly proudly poses with her oval yellow diamond ring from Pragnell Jewellery, as Adam confirmed in his Instagram stories.

Another shot showed Holly, wearing a white bikini top, holding her future husband’s head while the couple took a selfie.

“Happy birthday to this beautiful girl @hollyramsayy… I’m so happy for you and @adam_peaty! Hols, seeing how you’ve grown into the woman you are today with your kindness and love is absolutely infectious… Adam is one very lucky man! Welcome to the family ❤️,” Gordon wrote in his caption.

He jokingly added: “One down, two to go 😂”, referring to his other two daughters Megan (26) and Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay (22). Gordon and his wife Tana (50) also have sons Jack (24), Oscar (5) and Jesse James (9 months).

Holly – who officially dated Team Great Britain swimmer Adam on Instagram on July 10, 2023 – also shared several snaps from the special moment on the social media site, including two of the images posted by Gordon. Another image shows her holding out her ring while Adam lovingly holds her hand.

“I’m marrying my best friend. I honestly can’t put into words how I feel right now. I still remember how big my smile was when I got home that morning from my first date with you,” she captioned the post.

“Thank you for making the little girl in me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you and can’t wait to be your wife 🤍,” Holly added.

“I promise to always be here for you and George. I am so grateful to be in his life and can’t wait to experience more,” Holly posted, referring to Adam’s four-year-old son George, whom he has with ex Eirianedd Munro.

“Everything is better with you. Everything is better since you. To eternity. 💍🫶🏻✨🪩💗🧁,” Holly concluded, adding a Bible verse.

Adam posted the same pictures on Instagram, as well as another showing Holly’s hand on his and one focusing on her ring as she holds it up to the camera.

The athlete described himself as “the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman” by his side and added in his caption: “You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.”

“You were with me when I was at my lowest, helping me understand myself and navigate my own darkness. You also celebrated the highs, of which there were so many, because for the first time in my life, I am happy with the man I have become. You came to church with me and joined the incredible community we have there without hesitation,” he continued.

Adam added: “Your family has always been so generous with their time, their feelings and their trust. I can’t wait to be united with them too. I have always believed that when two people are engaged and later get married, we are no longer two people but one and it is the greatest privilege to share this with you.”

“When I saw how much you love the most important person in my life, George, from day one there was never a question in my mind that you would one day be my wife. I look forward to our life together and the many challenges that lie ahead. I promise to always love you with all my heart,” he concluded, quoting a Bible verse.
