PHOENIX — Comtech, a global technology company, officially completed the move of its corporate headquarters to Chandler this week.
The company’s move from Melville, NY, to Arizona was announced in March.
“Chandler has established itself as a leading technology corridor in the United States,” said John Ratigan, interim CEO of Comtech, in a press release. “We are excited to expand our presence in Arizona and capitalize on the City of Chandler’s continued commitment to innovation.”
The new headquarters is located in 305 N. 54th Street, has almost 150,000 square meters of office, development and production space.
Comtech is a global technology company that provides terrestrial and wireless networking solutions, next-generation 911 emergency services, satellite and space communications technologies, and cloud-native capabilities to commercial and government customers around the world.
While Comtech will not begin welcoming new employees to its new office until 2023, it has had a presence in Arizona for over 25 years, serving local commercial, defense and government customers.
“Today is a momentous day for Arizona as we welcome Comtech, a leading global technology company, to its new home in Chandler,” Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs said in the release. “Comtech’s headquarters in Chandler will provide enhanced opportunities for economic growth and highlight Arizona’s attractive business environment and reputation as a top center for innovation and technology. We are proud to support Comtech in its new chapter and look forward to supporting Comtech’s success in Arizona.”
Comtech is currently hiring for various positions in Chandler.
