Could Steve Jobs have ever imagined on January 9, 2007, when he held the iPhone in his hand, that in 2024 we would be eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the iPhone 16 series? This October marks 13 years since the Apple co-founder died of pancreatic cancer, and his handpicked successor has done an admirable job at the helm of the company. Believe it or not, next month is September, which means there are just a few weeks left until the unveiling of the next generation of iPhones.

The iPhone 16 Pro gets a larger 6.3-inch OLED display and the tetraprism periscope zoom lens, which offers 5x optical zoom. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will now have the largest display ever on an iPhone model at 6.9 inches (OLED, of course). Both Pro models will have a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and will be equipped with TSMC’s A18 Pro chipset, which uses its second-generation 3nm process node (3NE).
The iPhone16 (6.1-inch display) and iPhone16 Plus (6.7-inch display) is powered by the 3nm A18 application processor with a redesigned rear camera module. The lenses are mounted vertically instead of diagonally, allowing users to take spatial photos and record spatial videos that appear in 3D when viewed with the Vision Pro headset. On any other device, these images and videos will be displayed in 2D. The non-Pro models get the Action button introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. This button activates a preset function selected by the user.
All four new iPhone16 Devices could introduce the new record button that allows users to zoom in or out with the camera or press to focus the camera and long press to activate or start recording video.
