RJ’s opinion: If you mess with the Yellow Jackets, you get stung. Maybe we forgot that. We forgot that Yellow Jackets are notoriously more aggressive than bees, wasps and even hornets. They don’t even sting. They sting until they’re done, and they’re never done. People noticed Brent Pry’s squad’s 1-3 start in 2023 against an ACC title game team (Louisville) and the Peach Bowl champs (Ole Miss), but may not have seen that they finished 4-3. People may have forgotten that the Jackets continued to sting with a win against No. 17 North Carolina, a win against No. 17 Miami and finished with their first win since Paul Johnson’s reign as Queen.
With Haynes King back, an offensive line with over 100 starts and two All-ACC players, Tech has a chance to bowl in back-to-back seasons for the first time in a decade.
